Homes we built: Pedregal de Schoenstatt, Querétaro

In the Pedregal de Schoenstatt community in Querétaro, we designed and built a group of homes on lots B-28 to B-46 and A-41. It was one of the stages that marked Balaya's growth: design, construction and delivery of each home by our own team.

What these homes are like

• Two-story homes with a white facade combined with light stone cladding and tile details.

• Large black-framed windows and wood-and-glass front doors.

• Front garden entrance with concrete tracks for parking.

• Walls of Novaceramic multi-perforated clay brick.

Building at scale without losing quality

A group of more than twenty homes demands well-organized construction: scheduling work fronts, coordinating supplies and making sure every home meets the same standard. That experience is what we now offer to developers and investors who need one builder for several homes at once.

How we run every project

Behind every facade is a process we follow with discipline, because it is what guarantees the home is delivered as promised:

• Review of the lot and the community's building rules before design.

• Architectural design and structural calculations by our own team.

• Building permits with the corresponding municipality.

• Supervised construction with weekly progress and cost control.

• Finishes, installations and carpentry coordinated by the same team.

• Delivery of the finished home and after-sales support.

A building system made to last

We build our walls with Novaceramic multi-perforated clay brick. Its air cells give it structural strength and act as insulation: the home stays cooler on hot afternoons, warmer on Querétaro's cool nights, and quieter from street noise. To date, none of the homes we have built has had a structural failure.

In-house carpentry

The kitchens, closets, walk-in closets and doors in our homes are designed and built by Cocinas Balaya, our own carpentry workshop in Querétaro. That lets us control the quality of every piece and the installation schedule without relying on third parties. See their work at www.cocinasbalaya.com.
